Notes - This marriage assignment is far from certain. We base this on the tentative knowledge that John was living to the North of Otley following his second marriage, so may have been in the area prior to that time. He was recorded as a husbandman (farmer) upon his second marriage, and that same occupation was noted on the birth of daughter Sarah. We have been unable to find a record of wife Mary's death, but the absence of any children to the couple after Sarah in 1798 is suspicious.

- John Hardacre [sic] OTP and Mary Normington, spinster, OTP. Both made their mark. Witnesses were Robert Longfield and Benjamin Robinson.
