Notes - He was a gunner in HM 84th Regiment (2nd Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment) in 1819 when he was transferred into the Carnatic European Veterans Battalion of the Indian Army. He was 36 years old and was said to come from Raidon in Yorkshire. (Rawdon). He remained in the C.E.V.B. until he became a pensioner on 31 May 1842.
