Witnesses were John Richard Lawrence and Ada Lawrence (both possibly related to this Hardaker family through the marriage of William'sister Mary Elizabeth to Joshua Lawrence).

    • We suspect that Leonard married Mary Ann Longbottom 7 Jun 1919 at Holbeck, St Luke. Strangely his father's name was recorded as James, not William. This may be the James Hinchcliffe who was living with Leonard (working as a Packer in a Warehouse) and his mother Elizabeth in 1911. The marriage certificate for the couple also records Leonard as a Packer.
